European Community Shipowners’ Associations named Martin Dorsman as its new secretary general in Brussels.
Dorsman will take over the role once headed by Patrick Verhoeven at the start of November.
Dorsman comes from the Royal Association of Netherlands Shipowners (KVNR) where he served as managing director and deputy managing director since 2006. Prior to that he was employed by the shipping policy department of the Dutch government.
