Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) expects to have regained business lost while Iran was subject to international sanctions by the middle of 2017.
“Step by step the problems have been resolved (since then), removing many restrictions and limitations,” IRISL chairman Mohammad Saeidi told Reuters at the Danish Maritime Forum conference in Copenhagen.
International sanctions were lifted in January following an agreement with world powers on Tehran’s disputed nuclear programme.
