Orient Overseas (International) Limited (OOIL), the parent company of OOCL, has dismissed talk of a potential bid for the container line.
“We have noted certain recent media reports which mentioned that there may be a potential bid for the company’s subsidiary, OOCL by other shipping companies,” it said in a statement.
“We wish to clarify that the company and OOCL are not aware of, nor is it involved in any bid relating to the company or OOCL.”
