CMA CGM's short-sea line OPDR has started a new service from southern Spain to the UK.
The company said the POSS run links Seville to Tilbury in four days, which it claims is the fastest transit in this market.
It follows the start of a joint venture between OPDR and Boluda in the Spanish port.
The weekly POSS service also connects Tilbury to Rotterdam and Setubal.
