Seaspan Corp has deferred the delivery dates of two newbuildings under construction in China.
The boxship owner has entered into an agreement with Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co and Jiangsu Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding Co that will see the 10,000-teu vessels delivered in the first and second quarters of 2018.
According to the initial $186m contract signed in 2015, they were due to be delivered in the first and third quarters of 2017.
