CMA CGM has taken a pair of neo-panamaxes from Zodiac Maritime in a rare fixture involving very large containerships.
The French liner operator is reported to have taken the 13,092-teu Maersk Edison and Maersk Erving (both built 2011) for up to two years.
Rates are reported in the region of $28,500 per day for the first year, increasing to around $38,500 per day for the optional 12 months.
