Eizo Murakami will continue to be K Line’s president as largest shareholder Effissimo Capital backed him a year after opposing his re-election.

K Line’s shareholders voted in favour of Murakami earlier today, following an attempt by some investors to remove him amid big losses, Bloomberg reported.

Last year, the executive won the support of 57% of shareholders, down from 86% in 2015.
