Diana Containerships lined up a better rate on a short-term charter for one of its panamax containerships.
The Simeon Palios-led company says CMA CGM will take the 3,739-teu Domingo (built 2001) at a gross charter rate of $8,500 per day, less a 3.5% commission. The term will be for a period of eight to 11 months. The charter starts 15 September.
