Diana Containerships reported a fourth quarter loss as interest expenses outweighed improvements in time-charter equivalent revenue.

The Athens-based boxship owner reported a $16.6m loss for the fourth quarter compared to a $8.4m loss from a year earlier. The fourth-quarter results included a vessel impairment charge of $8.4m.

For the full-year 2017, Diana Containerships reported a $3.8m profit compared to a $149m loss, even as time-charter revenue fell for the year to $23.8m
