Kenya is planning to resurrect a government-owned shipping line with the aid of giant owner MSC.
Bloomberg cited Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta as saying Kenya National Shipping Line (KNSL) would be revived.
The aim is for the company to "once again become an active participant in international seaborne trade, which accounts for a significant percentage of Kenya’s total trade,” Kenyatta added.
