Korean liner start-up SM Line is teaming up with Vietnam's state shipowner Vinalines in South-east Asia.
The two have formed a strategic alliance to secure their foothold in the fast-growing market, Aju News reported.
SM said the two would share cargo and expand business cooperation.
Vinalines is sending a ship to work on a route for SM covering South Korea, Vietnam and Thailand.
