TheNational RetailFederation (NRF) says volumes will likely fall 8.4% to 1.17mteu in what istypically the slowest month of the year.
USports followed by the NRF’s monthly report handled 1.3mteu in December, thelatest month for which after-the-fact numbers are available.
Thatwas down 3.3% from November, but up 0.6% on a year ago. The December numbersbrought 2013 to a total of 16.2mteu, up 2.3%.
