The UK Competition Commission (CC) has pushed back its final ruling as to whether it has jurisdiction on the matter from late April previously.
The inquiry dates back to 2012, after Eurotunnel bought ferries from the defunct SeaFrance and set up a company to run them between Dover and Calais.
The CC ruled in June last year that Eurotunnel should stop ferry operations in Dover.
