More than 130passengers fell ill on nine separate cruises on the Boudicca (built 1973) between October 2009 and May 2010.
Fred Olsen isunderstood to have agreed to settle the case without formally admittingliability for causing the passengers to fall ill.
It said the illness were down to a higher thanusual number of cases of norovirus or winter vomiting virus among the UKpopulation.
