The 24-hour strike has seen 2,000 dockerswalk out on Wednesday morning.
The action is in support of a union officialin Tornio who was reportedly threatened by a representative of a Russian vesselin the port, where dockers were already on strike over a separate issue.
The strike is expected to end at 0600 hourslocal time on Thursday.
