SGX quoted Cosco Singapore says an Asian owner has booked two 64,000-dwt bulkers at its Zhoushan shipyard.
Delivery of the ships, which are costing $56m, is set for the end of 2016 and the first quarter of 2017.
The bulker contract was announced just a few hours after Maersk Supply Service ordered up to six subsea supply vessels at Cosco Dalian in a deal worth at least $470m
Last week TradeWinds reported Sham Chellaram-controlled KC Maritime had penned two 64,000-dwt and two 82,000-dwt bulkers at Cosco Shipyard Group.
