TVL International agreed to sell its 30% stake for HKD 2.1m ($271,000).
The boxship owner said the move will enable it to further expand its capacity in the shipping agency sector.
SITC Shipping Agency recorded a profit of HKD 1.3m for the financial year of 2013, slightly less than HKD 1.5m the year prior.
Its assets stood at HKD 7.5m.
