The German breakbulk specialist said it will operate between the UK/North West Continent and the US Gulf and east coast.
It will employ the 34,000-dwt open hatch/box shaped multipurpose container vessels Amber Lagoon (built 1997) and Purple Beach (built 1998).
MACS says the new service will accept break bulk, unitized cargo, rolling stock, steel products, project cargo, bulk parcels and containers.
The first eastbound Sailing from the US Gulf will leave Houston on 5 January, 2015, with the first westbound voyage sailing from Bremen on 30 January, 2015.
