Three months after the cruiseship giant teamed up with China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) and Fincantieri for the development of the first world-class cruiseship to be built in China, it is now exploring the possibility of creating the first-ever domestic cruise line.
The joint venture would operate its own ships and would be exclusively target the Chinese market, where Carnival will have four home-ported vessels by April.
