Speaking at the Cruise Shipping Miami conference today, Del Rio said that the Asian nation does not offer the high enough return on invested capital to support deployment of one of the recently expanded cruiseship owner’s existing ships.
"But we have four newbuildings,” he said. “We are developing a skunkworks internally to evaluate China, and we’ll make a decision in the next few months on whether we go or not.”
