The cruiseship owner, a subsidiary of Swiss shipping giant Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC), revealed the plans as it officially unveiled its Project Seaside, a design for its two firm newbuildings and one option at Italy’s Fincantieri shipyard.
The first of the ships, the 154,000-gt MSC Seaside, will immediately sail to its new homeport of Miami when it is delivered in December 2017.
