Bunker fuel sales jumped 12.3% year-on-year, to 3.6mt in March, according to figures released by the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA).
March volumes included 2.6mt of 380 CST high sulfur fuel oil, 56,100t of 180 CST HSFO and 721,400t of 500 CST HSFO.
Meanwhile, vessel arrivals for bunkers increased to 3,295 in March, up nearly 10% from February, but largely unchanged from a year ago.
