Seafarers of the world watch out - Costa Cruises has signed a deal that heralds the arrival of robot crew.
The agreement with French company Aldebaran is worth more than EUR 1m ($1.1m) and will see the Pepper machines brought on board two AIDA and Costa cruiseships in the spring.
The manufacturer claims Pepper is the world’s first robot that reads major human emotions and is ideally suited to help and delight guests, the Oreanda news agency reported.
