Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) and Germany's Daimler will establish a new service for Asia-bound vehicles.
The Japanese giant will now route cars heading to China and southeast Asia through Koper, Slovenia.
Previously, Daimler’s vehicles were exported through Germany’s Bremerhaven.
The new service will include four sailings per month on fixed days.
MOL explained this change will contribute to reduced CO2 emissions generated during transport.
