The American crew of a Maersk Line containership hijacked on Wednesday has regained control of the vessel.
A US Defense Department official and father of one of the crewmen told newswires that the mariners are back in control and have detained one of the pirates.
As TradeWinds has reported, the 1,098-teu, US-flag Maersk Alabama (built 1998) was attacked and hijacked Wednesday morning with 20 crew on board.
