Workers in Uruguay have announced a general strike that will obstruct port operations tomorrow.
The domestic general labour union will walk out for 24 hours on Thursday, starting from midnight local time.
Maritime agency NABSA said pilot boat services will be interrupted due to the strike.
The port of Montevideo in Uruguay is considered to be one of the largest ports in South America.
