China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) has slumped to a loss in the first half of 2016 on the back of the poor liner market.
The Hong Kong-listed company lost CNY 834.5m ($124.9m) against a profit of CNY 831.1m twelve months earlier.
Revenue for the interim period was down 49.7% year-on-year to CNY 8.3bn. However, this was compensated by a 48% decline in operating costs to CNY 7.8bn.
