A Hanjin Shipping-owned containership has been arrested by creditors in Singapore just as the company files for court receivership.
The 3,700-teu Hanjin Rome (built 1998) was detained late on Monday evening by the admiralty sheriff on the instructions of local law firm AsiaLegal LLC.
Court documents reveal that three single-ship vessel owning entities connected to Rickmers Reederei KG are behind the arrest.
