Norway’s Boa Shipping has collected a $16m dividend relating to a contract dispute with Gulmar Offshore.
Boa Shipping, a division of Ole Bjornevik’s Boa Offshore, says the funds relate to the cancellation of a contract for the 10,670-bhp MFSV Boa Rover (built 2001) back in 2009.
Gulmar’s decision to stop paying charter hire on the ship was just the first part of a drama.
