UK owner Bibby Offshore has struck a "significant" deal with Abu Dhabi's TAQA for subsea construction work off Scotland.
A construction support ship and a diving support vessel will be deployed for the contract in the Eider field, 184km north-east of Shetland.
The deal will cover six months and involves the connection of the Otter Production pipeline to the Eider Oil Export pipeline, as well as connection of the Tern-Eider water injection pipeline to the Otter water injection pipeline using subsea bypass spools.
