Rates for UK platform supply vessels (PSVs) declined again on Monday in an over-tonnaged market, but anchor-handlers were improving.
Centrica and Petrofac secured Hoyland Offshore and Fletcher Shipping PSVs for only £3,750 ($4,789) per day, compared to a recent low of £3,900. Another ship managed £4,000 per day, however.
Nine vessels were still looking for spot jobs on Monday, but Norway had sold out again, pushing rates up to NOK 125,000 ($14,800) per day from NOK 100,000.
