Offshore company Rowan is laying off more workers after a drillship charter was scrapped.
Another 40 to 50 positions will be lost in August after a deal for the Rowan Reliance was terminated early in the Gulf of Mexico, TradeWinds' sister newspaper Upstream reported.
It made 150 people redundant in May for the same reason.
The vessel is chartered by Cobalt International Energy off Louisiana.
