Middle East seismic vessel company Polarcus has logged a bigger loss in the second quarter as revenue declined.

The Oslo-listed owner said the net deficit was $33.7m against $11.2m in 2016.

Revenue plunged to $36.1m, from $67.9m a year ago.

Polarcus recorded vessel utilisation of 75% in the quarter, up from 72% in the first quarter.
