Topaz Energy & Marine has been awarded a "critical" $100m contract from Dragon Oil, a subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC).

The Dubai-based owner will deploy six vessels off Turkmenistan, where ENOC controls the Cheleken Contract Area, in the eastern section of the Caspian Sea.

Mobilisation of the ships is already underway, while the contract is for a five-year term with a two-year option, bringing Topaz’s revenue backlog above $1.5bn.
