Germany's SAL Heavy Lift is closing its Dutch operation SAL Offshore in "challenging" markets.
It said the offshore sector had been facing significant reductions in projects worldwide.
"Such conditions have made it difficult for SAL Offshore to obtain a sustainable and profitable foothold in the market,"it added.
The Delft office will close as part of a change in strategy, but this does not spell the end for SAL in the offshore market.
