Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) has returned to profit in its first six months.

The state-owned company said net earnings to 30 September were INR 225.6m ($3.46m), compared to a loss of INR 103.7m a year ago.

Revenue was up at INR 3.19bn from INR 3.04bn.

Reports have said this month that the government's 73% stake in the company is to be sold for $217m.
