The Nobu Su-controlled company said it has received two contract awards for the Sapphire Driller (built 2009).
These involve an additional well to the jack-up rig’s current drilling program and three wells from another customer in the Ivory Coast.
The contracts will start at the end of the current drilling program and have an anticipated duration of about 215 days.
Elsewhere, the jack-up Emerald Driller has had a six month option exercised by its Thai charterer, extending the contract until mid 2013.
