Offshore sales activity swelled by over one fifth in thefirst half of this year, according to figures from shipbroker Clarksons.
It counts 72deals involving offshore units and support vessels in the opening six months of2012, closing in on the 119 recorded in the whole of 2011.
Among offshore support vessels smallerPSVs (below 3,000-dwt) have witnessed the largest increase, with 17changing hands in the period.
