The US-listed company and Dutch outfit have teamed up on a50/50 project to long-term charter a diving support vessel.
The new joint venture hired Sealion Shipping’s Toisa Paladin(built 2007) for three years plus two six-month extension periods.
No financial details were disclosed.
The DNV classified vessel is already working on its firstjob for the joint venture in Malaysia.
Cal Dive said it has entered into a three-year frameagreement with a major international oil and gas company to keep the vessel utilisedthrough the end of the year.
