Thenewbuilding order has been won from Star Drilling, a Singapore-based company backedby India’s DP Jindal Group.
KeppelFELS is expected to deliver the KFELS B Class jack-up rig, Jindal’s third from Keppel,in the fourth quarter of 2014.
Destinedfor deployment off India the rig will be able to operate in water depths of upto 350 feet and have a drilling depth capability of 30,000 feet.
