The Swedish Maritime Administration (SMA) has held the 210-tbpTor Viking and Balder Viking (both built 2000) for icebreaking duties everyfirst quarter since 2000 but will not be renewing the pair beyond 2014 and 2015respectively.
The offshore wing of Rederi AB TransAtlantic said thecontract signed in 1998 no longer reflects current market rates and SMA hasdecided not to declare options to extend the two.
