The Victor Restis-backed offshore vessel owner agreed a four-year deal with German energy firm Wintershall for the 5,304-dwt Energy Swan (built 2005).

Wintershall will keep the vessel for four years firm and has four one-year options, Alesund-based Golden Energy said in a statement.

The 3,250-dwt Energy Insula (built 2012) began the contract at the end of September until the end of the year when the Energy Swan is due to complete a short term contract with ConocoPhillips.

The Energy Swan is 100% owned by Golden Energy Offshore while the Energy Insula is on a 10-year bareboat charter from from Vestland.

Golden Energy CEO Per Ivar Fagervoll declined to discuss the terms of the contract saying only that it had been concluded at “market levels”.

Greek shipowner Victor Restis took over the Norwegian company, previously called Aries Offshore, in the middle of 2010.

Golden Energy owns two other PSVs one of which is hired until 2015 while the other is due to come off charter in November, according to its website.
