Sovcomflot has placed the multi-functional standby vessels against 20-year charters with Sakhalin Energy Investment.
It takes the company’s offshore fleet serving Sakhalin 2 to four following the contract for an initial vessel in April.
Sergey Frank, chief executive of Sovcomflot, said of the latest order: “The arrival of these three vessels will enhance the safety of shipping in the area whilst minimizing the associated environmental risks.”
