The offshore company booked a gain of NOK 46.7m ($7.6m), from NOK 4.1m in the same corresponding period.
Revenue for the three months ended 30 June stood at NOK 1.05bn, against NOK 997m the year before, while operating costs increased to NOK 683m from last year’s NOK 633m.
During the first half of the year, Farstad signed contracts worth NOK 1.93bn.
It also completed the sale of all vessels built during the 1980s.
