Atlantic sees red

Norway’s Atlantic Offshore has booked a loss for the second three-month period of the year.

Its deficit was NOK 7.7m ($1.25m) versus a NOK 5.4m profit in the same stage of last year.

Revenue went up to NOK 175.1m from NOK 127.2m.

Atlantic won two new contracts during the three months to the end of June and it extended its deal for the 3,100-dwt platform supply vessel Ocean Surf (built 1998) until September.

Its fleet consists of 23 support ships.
