As previously reported, the SRI Bravenes will be built by Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group in China and is due for delivery in 2016.
Under the contract, Ulstein will mechanise the systems as much as possible, aiming to minimise human interaction during the deployment and recovery of the fall pipe.
It said the new system is able to efficiently switch between various rock installation modes and a wide range of rock sizes.
