The Avic-owned designer also revealed the vessel to be converted is the 131,000-dwt Navion Norvegia (built 1995).
The contract was announced by Jurong earlier this month, with OOGTK as the client.
The company is a 50/50 joint venture between Odebrecht Oil & Gas and Teekay Offshore.
The Libra FPSO will be chartered to Brazilian energy company Petrobras.
“The contract guarantees the continuation of Deltamarin’s involvement in the Libra project as the company has earlier participated in the outline phase design of the unit,” it said.
