Deficit for the period was $8m compared with a profit of $20m a year ago.
Net revenue grew from $169 in the same spell of 2013 to $177m.
The company’s bottom line was also affected by a weakening Brazilian real.
It suffered exchange losses of $17.6m during the period.
But its offshore arm performed well and managed to post a revenue of $20.9m, a 61% increase year-on-year.
