Gummedal only joined the Oslo-listed offshore support vessel operator in January 2014 as technical director.
Prior to this, he held a position as technical director at Wilson ASA, managing a fleet of 86 vessels.
Deep Sea Supply said Gummedal has over 13 years of experience in the shipping industry, the last seven of which have been in senior management positions.
