Oslo-listed Subsea 7 has revealed that six of its ships have been laid up as it seeks to reduce the fleet in "subdued" markets.
The offshore shipping and engineering group's said its previously announced cost-cutting programme is on track to deliver $550m of savings, with 12 ships to be removed from the fleet by early next year, instead of the 11 it mentioned in May.
